Thanks for the comment, Alan. It's appreciated. As I've stated in other comments, while I am not in favour of Nationalism as a cause, I have to live in the real world and I accept that Israel has as much right to exist as any other country in the world, including Ireland, including Palestine.
However, as I said, I am against the revisionist Zionism that has taken foothold in the Israeli government propped up by extremist (and yes, fascist) parties. In fact, it astounds me that Jewish people have allowed these parties into the only Jewish State in the world.
I am not taking sides in a battle between two evil regimes, both of whom have stated their feelings quite articulately about how they feel about each other's peoples. To call an entire population animals is more antisemitic, more dehumanising, than anything I could say. To wish to kill off an entire ethnicity of people is as antisemitic, as dehumanising than anything I could say. There are no good guys in this war.
